# Adding Liquidity

To add liquidity to a pool:

1. Visit the Coint DEX platform and connect your wallet.
2. Navigate to the Liquidity section.
3. Choose the liquidity pool you'd like to contribute to.
4. Input the desired amount of each token you wish to provide.
5. Confirm the transaction.

#### <mark style="color:yellow;">Providing Balanced Liquidity</mark>

Maintaining a balanced ratio of tokens in the liquidity pool is essential to minimize impermanent loss. Impermanent loss occurs when the relative value of the tokens in the pool changes over time due to price fluctuations.
