During her expedition and while meeting with one of the kings from neighboring lands, Novandra learned of a recent development: a malevolent and formidable entity had conquered a territory. It had amassed forces and armaments, poised for a comprehensive assault on an undisclosed location. This revelation invoked a memory in Novandra—the transformation of Qphen into a symbol of darkness, malevolence, and demonic attributes by consuming PurpX. Unbeknownst to her, the conquered land was precisely where she stood, land that now under the dominion of a leader who conquered by Qphen.

Novandra found herself held captive by Qphen, now brimming with demonic power. Qphen, fueled by mere drops of PurpX, had transformed into a tremendously powerful and tyrannical being, harboring a deep-seated desire for revenge against Xylon and its people, especially Novandra.

In this perilous juncture, Qphen initiated plans to extract detailed structures and intricate maps of communication bridges from Novandra's memory. She, foreseeing such an eventuality during the bridge design phase, had implemented a sophisticated defense mechanism to prevent intruders from accessing the main PurpX reservoir. Yet, during the activation of this defense, the communication link between Novandra's controller and the main system abruptly ceased. Novandra remained uncertain if the mechanism had indeed been activated.

This defense mechanism, once triggered, was intended to halt PurpX extraction, divert all secondary bridge outputs, and distribute the substance across multiple transmission bridges to create the illusion of an empty mother reservoir. This series of actions would subject the only accessible path to the mother reservoir—already extending deep underground— to nearly insurmountable pressure due to the sudden release of PurpX. As a consequence, the journey to reach the source would take a minimum of one year under the swiftest circumstances.
