🌊Part 4 (mint)

Maria and Novandra walked in door and came out. It seemed that freedom had finally arrived. But when they came out, they realized that they were standing on the edge of a cliff.

A very tall waterfall was in front of them. In fact, it seemed that they were trapped in a castle in the heart of a mountain with a waterfall flowing down from the top.

As she looked at the strong current of water, she wondered how they could get down the mountain without hurting Maria. Suddenly, Maria said that the guards had arrived at the door.

"Novandra, it won't be long before they get the key back. You need to jump now," he said. Novandra turned around in surprise and stared at Maria. "I'll be fine," she said. But you cannot survive by jumping from this height. "I'm not going to jump," said Maria. "You have to do it yourself."

Novendra said: No. "I'm not going to let go of the woman who saved my life after all these years and risked herself for me." She looked down again and turned the flashlight more carefully to find a way. Suddenly she saw a ladder a few meters down. But it looked like it hadn't been used in years. It was not known how strong was or whether she had gone to the bottom of the mountain.

The upper steps were broken and it seemed unlikely that they could even reach it.

But there was no time left and no other way. So she quickly said to Maria: "You must give me your hands and try to put your foot on the first step of the ladder."

Maria took out a book from her pocket and held it tightly in her hand, walking forward and standing right behind Novandra. "You don't know much," she said. "And if I get out of this alive, I'll have a lot to say." Then she hugged Novandra from behind with all her might and pushed her forward. The two jumped off the cliff.
